Ten's Enough and Hennessey were slow to begin.
Krakatoan checked off Whistling Bullet approaching the first turn. Ten's Enough galloped on the heels of Hennessey on the first turn; checking Ten's Enough; severely checking Hennessey. Chop Scotch and Happy Ruby collided on the first turn; checking Krakatoan and Westar Aileen; severely checking Chop Scotch. Westar Aileen and Stella Rhode collided approaching the home turn. Ten's Enough and Westar Aileen collided entering the home straight.
Stella Rhode underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left foreleg fractured toe and split webbing injuries. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Hennessey underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
