Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Mario Briganti regarding the scratching of Pilbara (box 4), which afforded a vacant box for kennel mate, Rockstar Ruby (box 5) in this event. Mr Briganti advised that when he galloped Pilbara on Saturday, 10 July 2021 he noticed that the greyhound had a pappilloma, and as it had not healed he formally withdrew the greyhound on 12 July 2021. Acting in accordance with GAR 23, Pilbara was stood down for 10 days effective 12 July 2021.
A pre-race sample was taken from Rockstar Ruby.
Dark Compass was quick to begin.
