Aston Adonis and Lektra Rhino collided approaching the first turn. Tyler Durden and Mr. Fix It collided on the first turn. Midoriyama and Ripplebrook Glen collided entering the back straight, checking Midoriyama. Midoriyama and I'm A Lawyer collided entering the home straight. Mr. Fix It faltered after the winning post.
Mr. Fix It underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock injury. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and deemed the surface satisfactory for racing.
