Steward's Report
All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
Who Told Mel and Wendy Witch were quick to begin. Ron's Lament was slow to begin. Green Opal went up with the lids at box rise and lost ground.
Don't Tell Julie checked off Midnight Yaala on the first turn. Don't Tell Julie and Brian Basilisa collided on the first turn. Green Opal raced wide on the first turn and collided with Midnight Yaala; checking both greyhounds.
Green Opal underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right shin soreness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Ron's Lament underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left hindleg shin soreness and right hindleg pencil/whip muscle injuries. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
