Steward's Report
Deadly Rookie, Master Logan and Loves To Talk were quick to begin. Chasing Thunder was slow to begin.
Dr. Falkor and Miss You Emma collided soon after the start. Deadly Rookie, Natural Action and Slingshot Rusty collided approaching the first turn. Deadly Rookie, Natural Action, Master Logan and Loves To Talk collided on the first turn. Dr. Falkor and Miss You Emma collided approaching the home turn. Loves To Talk checked off Miss You Emma approaching the home turn causing Loves To Talk and Chasing Thunder to collide. Master Logan raced wide approaching the home turn. Dr. Falkor and Miss You Emma collided on the home turn. Natural Action crossed out wide and marred Slingshot Rusty approaching the winning post.
Natural Action underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to presentative Mr. Greg Turnbull and trainer Ms. Tracey Salter via a phone call, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Natural Action was charged with marring. Ms. Salter pleaded not guilty to the charge, Natural Action was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
