Mahogany Queen was slow to begin.
Saint Tess and Our Frankie collided soon after the start. Saint Tess checked off Me Silly on the first turn. Molly Byrnes and Saint Tess collided approaching the home turn. Mahogany Queen checked off Molly Byrnes on the home turn. Our Frankie and Wagner Bale collided in the home straight. Molly Byrnes checked off Mahogany Queen approaching the winning post.
Molly Byrnes underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
