Camulos was quick to begin.
Barooga Smoke and Lala Kiwi collided soon after the start. Tynslee Bale and Got The Torque collided approaching the first turn checking Tynslee Bale. Tynslee Bale and Barooga Smoke collided on the first turn. Got The Torque and Lala Kiwi collided on the second turn. He Shall Rodger raced wide in the back straight. Barooga Smoke and Lala Kiwi collided on the third turn. Camulos and Lala Kiwi collided approaching the home turn. Camulos, Got The Torque and Lala Kiwi collided on the home turn. Lala Kiwi brushed the running rail on the home turn. Tynslee Bale checked off Lala Kiwi entering the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Miss. Ella Wilson, the handler of Tynslee Bale, regarding the greyhound initially being placed in the incorrect starting box before being relocated into the correct starting box. Acting under GAR 86(o), the Stewards charged Miss Wilson for negligence. Miss Wilson pleaded guilty to the charge. A fine of $100.00 was imposed.
