Steward's Report
Real Mickoy was quick to begin. Daintree Lad was slow to begin. Real Mickoy and Chief Gem collided soon after the start. Hurricane Karin lost ground approaching the first turn and subsequently tailed off. Those In Favour galloped on Real Mickoy on the first turn checking Daintree Lad, severely checking Those In Favour which tailed off. Give Me Donuts marred Classy Kayla entering the home straight and several times approaching the winning post.
Those In Favour underwent a post race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was found to have an injured right wrist and left triangle muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Hurricane Karin underwent a post race veterinary examination and was no apparent injury was reported.
Give Me Donuts underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left hind sesamoid. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Mallia, the trainer of Give Me Donuts regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight and approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Give Me Donuts was charged with marring. Mr. Mallia is pleaded guilty to the charge, Give Me Donuts was found guilty and suspended for 3 months all tracks and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
