Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Circus Dancer.
Crystal Edition was quick to begin.
Doll's Jakit, Whizbang Alice, Fidelia, Circus Dancer and Bomber's Smokey collided soon after the start checking Fidelia and Circus Dancer. Doll's Jakit and Circus Dancer collided approaching the first turn. Morbius checked off Bomber's Smokey approaching the first turn. Whizbang Alice checked off Crystal Edition on the first turn. Crystal Edition falted on the first turn and lost considerable ground, checking Bomber's Smokey. Fidelia and Morbius collided on the home turn. Doll's Jakit raced wide in the home straight.
Crystal Edition underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
