Hurricane Pat, Everlast Queen and Run Topper collided on the first turn checking Everlast Queen and Run Topper. Ozzie Dan galloped on Hurricane Max on the first turn checking Hurricane Max severely checking Ozzie Dan. Hurricane Pat, Hurricane Max and Ozzie Dan raced wide in the home straight.

Jay Jay Lopez was quick to begin. Afro Boy and Average Axel were slow to begin.

Ebony Tara crossed in soon after the start checking Hurricane Maggie. Rock The Planet and Average Axel collided on the first turn checking Average Axel causing Rock The Planet to fall. Ebony Tara crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Jay Jay Lopez. Manuka Boy checked off Jay Jay Lopez on the first turn. Hurricane Maggie checked off Manuka Boy on the home turn. 

Rock The Planet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right hindleg tarsal sprain hock injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Be Good Goldie and Crymelon Libby were quick to begin. 

Sweet Kathlene crossed out soon after the start and collided with Cryptic Vixen checking Sweet Kathlene. Dewana Be Happy and Cryptic Vixen collided approaching the first turn. Cryptic Vixen checked off Be Good Goldie on the first turn. Go Jack and Cryptic Vixen collided approaching the winning post.

Be Good Goldie underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs Cheryl Pirani regarding the racing manners of Be Good Goldie approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Mrs Pirani, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Moroka Magic raced wide on the home turn. How's It Alice and Yelredda Saint collided on the home turn. Crowdza Back raced wide on the home turn. Crowdza Back visibly eased in the home straight and collided with Oda May several times to approaching the winning post.

Hurricane Pete and Mt. View Ivy collided soon after the start. Elswyk Suzie, Car Dealer, Invictus Stella, Hurricane Pete and Mt. View Ivy collided approaching the first turn checking Car Dealer and Invictus Stella. Elswyk Suzie and Hurricane Pete collided on the first turn checking Hurricane Pete. Shady Talks and Mt. View Ivy collided on the first turn checking Mt. View Ivy.

Invictus Stella underwent a post-race veterinary examination (frequency of racing) and was found to have a left foreleg flexor tendon injury and a right hindleg calf injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Hurricane Pete underwent a post-race veterinary examination (frequency of racing) - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards issued a warning pursuant to GAR 27(1) to Mr Steve Kaltsis after the greyhound, Shady Talks escaped in kenneling area. After hearing submissions from Mr Kaltsis a warning was issued in accordance with GAR 27(1).

My Girl Mel was quick to begin. 

Freckles Brown and Zippy Customer collided soon after the start. Zipping Chuck, Freckles Brown, Zippy Customer and Voodoo Spirit collided approaching the first turn checking Voodoo Spirit. Zipping Chuck clipped the heels of My Girl Mel approaching the home turn causing Zipping Chuck to fall checking Freckles Brown and severely checking Voodoo Spirit.

My Girl Mel underwent a post-race veterinary examination at trainers request was found to have a spike wound to left biceps tendon. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Voodoo Spirit underwent a post-race veterinary examination was found to have a tarsal sprain hock injury and a spike wond to right foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed

Zipping Chuck underwent a post-race veterinary examination was found to have a left foreleg split webbing. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

An out of competition sample was taken from Nitroglycerine on 9 December 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Elswyk Sky and Bella Porscha collided on the first turn checking Desmonde, Legasov Bale, Nitroglycerine and Mt. View Shark severely checking Elswyk Sky and Bella Porscha. 

Mt. View Shark  underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg triangle muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Four Aces - the winner of the event. 

A sample was taken from Crymelon Ivy upon arrival at the course.

Tower Ball and Aston Pablo collided in the home straight.

Aston Pablo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left stopper injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Knuckles Galore, Wichita Bale and San Martino collided approaching the first turn checking Wichita Bale. Dr. Kye and Wichita Bale collided on the first turn checking Dr. Kye.

Stewards spoke to catching pen attendant Mr G. Whyman, and reminded him of his responsibilities after there was a delay in opening the lure gate flap prior to the green light being activated for this event. This incident was referred to relevant Management.

Veracruz Bale and Lily Rose Harper were quick to begin.

Mt. View Jester clipped the heels of Under His Spell on the first turn. Sicilian checked off Veracruz Bale entering the home straight. Credent, Barry Jakit and Lily Rose Harper raced wide in the home straight.

Crystal Edition was quick to begin.

Doll's Jakit, Whizbang Alice, Fidelia, Circus Dancer and Bomber's Smokey collided soon after the start checking Fidelia and Circus Dancer. Doll's Jakit and Circus Dancer collided approaching the first turn. Morbius checked off Bomber's Smokey approaching the first turn. Whizbang Alice checked off Crystal Edition on the first turn. Crystal Edition falted on the first turn and lost considerable ground, checking Bomber's Smokey. Fidelia and Morbius collided on the home turn. Doll's Jakit raced wide in the home straight. 

Crystal Edition underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
