A pre-race sample was taken from Sir Harley.
Dundee Hornet, Second Pick and Dr. Knuckles collided soon after the start. Bowie, Sir Harley and Invictus Ethan collided soon after the start. Invictus Ethan, Sir Harley, Bowie and Second Pick collided approaching the first turn checking Sir Harley. Dundee Hornet, Invictus Ethan and Second Pick collided approaching the first turn checking Second Pick. Dr. Knuckles and General Payton collided on the first turn. Dundee Hornet and Invictuals Ethan collided on the first turn. Invictus Ethan clipped the heels of General Payton entering the home straight causing General Payton to fall checking Bowie, severely checking Sir Harley. Dr. Knuckles and General Payton collided approaching the winning post.
