Deadly Redeemer and Holly’s Entity were quick to begin.  Noble Stone and On The Run were slow to begin.  Noble Stone was checked off On The Run approaching the first turn.  Aston Gamble and Noble Stone collided on the first turn.  Holly’s Entity clipped the heels of Deadly Redeemer on the first turn.  Sweet As Milo and On The Run collided on the first turn.  Holly’s Entity and Sweet As Milo collided approaching the home turn.  On The Run was checked off Holly’s Entity on the home turn. Holly’s Entity and On The Run collided in the home straight.

The start of this event was re-scheduled to 7.16pm.

Bucked Head was quick to begin.  Mahjong Bailey and Bucked Head collided soon after the start. Minnie Winnie and Establishment collided soon after the start.  Mahjong Bailey, Aston Jazz, Minnie Winnie and Bucked Head collided soon after the start checking Bucked Head, severely checking Minnie Winnie.  Establishment and Mahjong Bailey collided on the first turn checking Establishment.

My Name’s Jock, Just Needed Time and My Shout were quick to begin.  Go Saints Go crossed in soon after the start.  Just Needed Time and My Name’s Jock collided approaching the first turn.  Just Needed Time and Go Saints Go collided approaching the first turn.  My Shout and Jimmy collided on the first turn.  Just Needed Time galloped on Go Saints Go approaching the home turn severely checking Just Needed Time and Aston Marley; Just Needed Time raced wide as a result.  Invictus Louie, My Shout and Go Saints Go collided in the home straight.

Surprising was quick to begin.  Meet Winston and Many Ways collided soon after the start checking Meet Winston.  Meet Winston was checked off Know Ethics approaching the first turn.  Know Ethics, Night Patrol and Many Ways collided on the first turn checking Night Patrol and Many Ways, severely checking Know Ethics.  Meet Winston raced wide on the home turn.  Know Ethics and Surprising collided on the home turn.  Meet Winston raced wide In the home straight.

Madalia Ken, Oscar The Scout and Jimmy Maker collided soon after the start.  Jimmy Maker was checked off Baby approaching the first turn.  Oscar The Scout and Jimmy Maker collided on the first turn.  Zipping Jazz, Oscar The Scout, Jimmy Maker, Baby and Airly Pablo collided on the first turn checking Oscar The Scout, Jimmy Maker and Airly Pablo.  Madalia Ken and Jimmy Maker collided approaching the home turn.

Jimmy Maker underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left front toe and left metacarpal.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Invictus Ethan underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right hip.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Bowie underwent a post race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was found to have an abrasion on the right achillies tendon.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Party Doll was checked off Lavish Diamond approaching the home turn severely checking Party Doll. Aston Sylvie and He Shall Rodger collided entering the home straight checking Aston Sylvie.

Hurricane Keely and Zipping Loxley raced wide in the home straight.

Saint Phoenix was quick to begin.  Apache Runner was slow to begin.  Apache Runner and Hot Shaynna crossed in soon after the start.  Fab Rocket and Apache Runner collided approaching the first turn.  Saint Phoenix, Little Nellie, Fab Rocket and Apache Runner collided on the first turn severely checking Saint Phoenix and Hot Shaynna.  Little Nellie and Apache Runner collided several times approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Two Pars was quick to begin.  Fargo and Elswyk Jordy collided soon after the start.  Inga Ollie and Cool Stone collided soon after the start.  Neesa Giblet and Padrino Rocks collided approaching the first turn.  Two Face, Cool Stone and Inga Ollie collided approaching the first turn checking Inga Ollie.  Two Face, Fargo and Elswyk Jordy collided on the first turn checking Elswyk Jordy.  Two Pars and Fargo collided on the home turn.  Neesa Giblet, Elswyk Jordy and Inga Ollie collided on the home turn checking all three greyhounds.  Fargo raced wide in the home straight.

Scott Hue was slow to begin.  Mclinden, Sweet Chanelle and On The Duck collided soon after the start checking Sweet Chanelle and On The Duck.  Sweet Chanelle and On The Duck collided approaching the first turn checking On The Duck.  Narcissus crossed to the rail approaching the first turn and collided with El Fernanda checking Parumba Rebel.  El Fernanda was checked off Narcissus approaching the home turn.

On The Duck underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left back muscle and left monkey muscle.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

The Stewards questioned Mr David McKenzie the trainer of Maxwell Hammer in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal from this race. Mr McKenzie stated that the greyhound was checked this morning and found to have hock soreness. Stewards noted his explanation.

Society Icon and Black Power were quick to begin.  Black Power shifted out soon after the start checking Small Soldier.  Alecia, Small Soldier and Blazin’ Sushi collided approaching the first turn checking Blazin’ Sushi.  Metro Boomin’ and Blazin’ Sushi collided approaching the first turn.  Small Soldier and Alecia collided on the first turn severely checking Alecia. Society Icon and Kingy Lights collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.  Love And Thunder was checked off Small Soldier in the home straight.

Society Icon underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (cramp) Society Icon must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
