All persons attending today, checked-in and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 28.6 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.7 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.

Cosmetic Rose and Poppy To Burn collided soon after the start. Moraine Lucy and Crymelon Tactile collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Cosmetic Rose, Poppy To Burn and War Time Novelty collided on the first turn checking Poppy To Burn. Cosmetic Rose, Poppy To Burn and Crymelon Tactile collided approaching the home turn checking Crymelon Tactile. War Time Novelty and Marie's Angel collided entering the home straight. Marie's Angel and Paluma collided in the home straight checking Paluma.

Paluma underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have thumps. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Thomas Sinnott regarding the racing manners of Marie's Angel in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr Sinnott, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Texan Galore was quick to begin.

Surf To Burn, Thunder Dash and Strength To Burn on the first turn checking Thunder Dash, severely checking Surf To Burn which lost ground as a result. Lily St. Regis marred Madam Evie in the home straight.

Lily St. Regis underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right hind foot. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Garry George, the trainer of Lily St Regis regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Lily St. Regis was charged with marring. Mr George pleaded not guilty to the charge, Lily St. Regis was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Surf To Burn underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

McGlynn and Hokkaido Miss collided on the first turn checking McGlynn. Maximum Coco and There's My Spot collided on the first turn checking Maximum Coco. Miracle Belle raced wide entering the home straight.

Rockin' Diamonds and Enid's Angel collided soon after the start. Tweet It Sweet, Rockin' Diamonds and Enid's Angel collided on the first turn checking Enid's Angel. Rockin' Diamonds and Tweet It Sweet collided entering the home straight. Rockin' Diamonds visibly eased in the home straight checking Tweet It Sweet and Enid's Angel.

Rockin' Diamonds underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a lost/torn left hind toe nail and thumps. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mrs Melissa Fullerton regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Rockin' Diamonds was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs Fullerton pleaded guilty to the charge, Rockin' Diamonds was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

My Name's Stacey, Josie Wags and Abby's Illusion collided soon after the start. Lips Boloney, My Name's Stacey and Josie Wags collided on the first turn. Merry Lass, Chasing Honey and Abby's Illusion collided on the first turn checking Chasing Honey. My Name's Stacey checked off Chasing Honey approaching the home turn. Lips Boloney and Abby's Illusion raced wide entering the home straight and again in the home straight. My Name's Stacey and Josie Wags collided in the home straight. Chasing Honey and My Name's Stacey collided in the home straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Merry Lass - the winner of the event.

Fearless Pigeon– Late scratching at 12:46 when trainer Andrea Gurry reported the greyhound to have sustained a toe injury. (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Silver Compass, Westar Storm and Sugar Spice collided on the first turn checking Skibo Rebel, Sugar Spice, Arby's Lucy and Crymelon Comet. Silver Compass and Crymelon Comet collided on the home turn. Arby's Lucy checked off Skibo Rebel entering the home straight. Mouthy Boof and Sugar Spice collided in the home straight checking Sugar Spice. Skibo Rebel and Mouthy Boof collided approaching the winning post causing Mouthy Boof to brush the running rail.

Tapering Off and Where's Lesley collided soon after the start. Tapering Off, Where's Lesley and Rezzie's Choice collided approaching the first turn checking Rezzie's Choice. Where's Lesley and Ten Dollar Slaps collided on the first turn. Swift Brittany, Where's Lesley, Ten Dollar Slaps and Tapering Off collided approaching the home turn checking Ten Dollar Slaps, severely checking Tapering Off and Where's Lesley, Where's Lesley fell as a result. Where's Lesley underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
