Steward's Report
All persons attending today, checked-in and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
Lucy Mac was quick to begin. Belle Yarakii and Nifty Bale were slow to begin.
Hone Your Skills checked off Penny Mondial on the first turn. Thunder Strike turned its head inwards and visibly eased in the home straight.
Thunder Strike underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left back muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Calven Russell regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home striaght. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Thunder Strike was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Russell pleaded guilty to the charge, Thunder Strike was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
