Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade, Ms Kahlia Johnson did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
A pre-race sample was taken from Colossal Fire.
Blackzin Prince crossed ot the outside soon after the start. Chill Out Dusty and Colossal Fire collided several times soon after the start. Collosal Fire pulled up at the 300m mark. Chill Out Dusty checked off Blackzin Prince approaching the 150m mark.
Colossal Fire underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Kenneth McCann, the Trainer of Colossal Fire regarding the performance of the greyhound at the 300m mark. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Colossal Fire must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72. Stewards also ordered that Colossal Fire be subject to the production of a veterinary certificate of soundness before being eligible to be nomnated for any Event pursuant to GAR 71 (2).
