Steward's Report
The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Fashion Icon with Mr. R. Sullivan and noted his comments.
A pre-race sample was taken from Low Planes.
Charango and Fashion Icon were slow to begin. Prabaker and Blazin’ Sushi collided approaching the first turn. Low Planes, Kingy Lights, Blazin’ Sushi and Fenway Lights collided on the first turn, Blazin’ Sushi stumbled as a result. Low Planes, Kingy Lights and Fenway Lights collided on the first turn severely checking Kingy Lights. Low Planes and Fenway Lights collided approaching the home turn, Fenway Lights faltered and subsequently tailed off. Kingy Lights and Prabaker collided entering the home straight.
Fenway Lights underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Fashion Icon underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left deltoid muscle. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
