Brandeen Jerry was slow to begin.  Aston Pablo and Sore Loser collided soon after the start checking Aston Pablo.  Ozzie Dan and Sore Loser collided approaching the first turn.  Ozzie Dan and Aston Pablo collided approaching the first turn checking Ozzie Dan.  Sore Loser was checked off Brandeen Jerry on the first turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Ebony Tara.

Establishment was slow to begin.  Jebrynah Sol, Shadow Jewel and Everlast Queen collided soon after the start.  Run Topper crossed in approaching the first turn checking Jebrynah Sol, Chanel Miss and Urana Wendy.  Urana Wendy and Run Topper collided on the first turn.  Chanel Miss and Jebrynah Sol collided approaching the home turn.  Everlast Queen and Establishment collided entering the home straight.

Bubbling Betty and Crystal Edition collided soon after the start.  Johnny Collar and Crystal Edition collided approaching the first turn.  Aston Jive and Memphis Rock collided on the first turn.  Memphis Rock and Combat Mission collided approaching the home turn causing Memphis Rock to stumble.

Stewards conducted a check of the catcher’s licences in accordance with L.L.R. 16.2 and all were compliant.

Stewards conducted an inquiry after Mr. E. Dowsey caught the greyhound Memphis Rock with incorrect equpiment.  Mr Dowsey was fined $50 pursuant to GAR 86Q.  Stewards are conducting a review regarding Mr. Dowsey’s conduct during the inquiry.

My Mate Lucas and Sitizano Rocks were slow to begin.  Hurricane Harry and Baby collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Hurricane Harry, Baby and My Mate Lucas collided approaching the home turn checking Hurricane Harry and Baby.  Captain Warrior and Baby collided entering the home straight.  

A post race sample was taken from High Jewel - winner of the event.

Jet Like Rico and Mercury Icon were slow to begin.  Security Man crossed in soon after the start checking Emma Banjo.  Hacker crossed in on the first turn checking Security Man and Emma Banjo. Emma Banjo was checked off Security Man entering the home straight.  Hacker turned its head outward in the home straight checking Jet Like Rico. Jet Like Rico and Hacker collided in the home straight.

Hacker underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the left hind leg.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Martinovic, the representative for Hacker regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Hacker was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Martinovic pleaded not guilty to the charge, Hacker was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72,  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Oscar The Scout - Late scratching at 4.59pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr. E. Lieshout was fined $100.

Jimmy Maker was slow to begin.  Alecia, Gosh and Jimmy Maker collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Small Soldier and Prada Gem collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Hugo.

Cyber Crime, Bon Yogi and Galloping Albi collided soon after the start.  Captain Cruiser, Cyber Crime and Hugo collided approaching the first turn.  Chop Scotch and Aston Grenache colllided on the first turn, Aston Grenache faltered and subsequently tailed off.  Galloping Albi was checked off Cyber Crime on the first turn checking Bon Yogi.  Galloping Albi and Bon Yogi collided on the home turn.

Aston Grenache underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right hock.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event Stewards inspected the track on the first turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

Get A Job and Zipping Sense collided approaching the first turn. Egyptian Tiger, Reiko Barty and Zipping Sense collided on the first turn checking Zipping Sense, causing Get A Job to race wide. Crispy Duck and Egyptian Tiger collided entering the home straight.

Party Doll was quick to begin.  Aston Sabelle, Beers On Brodie and Saint Phoenix collided approaching the first turn checkingn Beers On Brodie and Aston Sabelle.  Aston Sabelle contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and lost ground.  Fargo was checked off Parumba Rebel approaching the home turn.  Dundee Silk was checked off Parumba Rebel on the home turn.  Fargo raced wide in the home straight.

Aston Sabelle underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right wrist and an abrasion on the right wrist.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Manila Shine was slow to begin.  Mia’s Hand and Pat My Lass collided soon after the start.  Pat My Lass, Bella Porscha and Nitroglycerine collided on the home turn checking Bella Porscha.  Pat My Lass was checked off Two Pars entering the home straight.  Total Babe crossed out in the home straight and collided with Black Power.  Manila Shine was checked off Black Power in the home straight.  Total Babe, Manila Shine and Black Power raced wide in the home straight

Stunning One and Busy Izzy were quick to begin.  Fourth Dimention, On The Duck and Mt. View Dodger collided soon after the start.  Black Mintie was checked off Kraken Rover on the first turn severely checking Black Mintie.  Fourth Dimention, On The Duck and Mt. View Dodger collided on the first turn.  One Thrill galloped on Fourth Dimention approaching the home turn.  On The Duck was checked off Mt. View Dodger on the home turn.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Fashion Icon with Mr. R. Sullivan and noted his comments.

Charango and Fashion Icon were slow to begin.  Prabaker and Blazin’ Sushi collided approaching the first turn.  Low Planes, Kingy Lights, Blazin’ Sushi and Fenway Lights collided on the first turn, Blazin’ Sushi stumbled as a result.  Low Planes, Kingy Lights and Fenway Lights collided on the first turn severely checking Kingy Lights.  Low Planes and Fenway Lights collided approaching the home turn, Fenway Lights faltered and subsequently tailed off.  Kingy Lights and Prabaker collided entering the home straight.  

Fenway Lights underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right hock.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Fashion Icon underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left deltoid muscle.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
