Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings and observed social distance requirements that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Osprey Phantom was slow to begin.  Do Good Davlin, Eat My Dust and Coterie collided soon after the start.  Daph's Zac, Gypsy Yankee and Tan Star collided approaching the first turn.  Tan Star, Do Good Davlin and Coterie collided entering the back straight.  Tan Star checked off Do Good Davlin in the back straight.  Tan Star, Coterie and Osprey Phantom collided on the third turn checking Tan Star and Coterie.

A post-race sample was taken from Americano Miss, the winner of the event.

Jen Jumbo Prawn – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Warrnambool on 11 November.  Jen Jumbo Prawn was examined by the on-track veterinarian and was found to be free from injury.  Jen Jumbo Prawn was cleared to race.

Steamer Redeemer and Sir Champ were slow to begin.  Summer Lights and Alfie Alligator collided soon after the start.  Summer Lights, Alfie Alligator and Kutcher's Ruslie collided approaching the first turn.  Kutcher's Ruslie and Sir Champ collided entering the back straight checking Kutcher's Ruslie.  Alfie Alligator and Sir Champ collided approaching the home turn.  Kutcher's Ruslie faltered on the home turn.  Arlington brushed the running rail entering the home straight.

Carry On Maxwell, Call Me Buster and Suntory Rose collided soon after the start checking Call Me Buster and Suntory Rose.  Carry On Maxwell and Rose's Honey collided approaching the second turn, severely checking Rose's Honey which fell as a result.  Call Me Buster and Whatever I Say collided on the third turn.  Auspicious Queen checked off Jarick Bale approaching the home turn.  Suntory Rose checked off Auspicious Queen approaching the home turn and collided with Call Me Buster.  Auspicious Queen, Call Me Buster and Suntory Rose collided entering the home straight.

Rose's Honey was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mepunga Katie was quick to begin.  Zipping Rambo and Grace's Spirit collided soon after the start.  Zipping Rambo checked off Graclyn Bale on the second turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Mepunga Katie, the winner of the event.

Bobby The Brute and Rippin' Memphis were quick to begin.  Boston Garden was slow to begin.  Nine To Seven and Boston Garden collided soon after the start.  He Shall Rodger checked off Bobby The Brute soon after the start.  He Shall Rodger and Zipping Hamish collided approaching the first turn.  Plan Ahead crossed to the rail on the first turn checking He Shall Rodger and Zipping Hamish.

Rufiano, Usman Bale, Zivon Bale and Aragog collided approaching the first turn checking Zivon Bale and Aragog, severely checking Rufiano and Usman Bale.  Rufiano, Usman Bale and Devel Sixteen collided on the first turn checking Rufiano and Devel Sixteen, severely checking Usman Bale which fell as a result.  Aragog and Devel Sixteen collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds causing both to race wide.  Zivon Bale crossed to the rail on the second turn and collided with Usman Bale.  Usman Bale took no further part in the event.  Rufiano, Devel Sixteen and Dr. Ryker collided on the home turn checking Dr. Ryker.

Usman Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left biceps and chest muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Soda Fizz.

Aston Alpha and Midnight Snooze collided soon after the start.  Soda Fizz and Aston Sunset collided approaching the first turn.  Whakahoro, Aston Alpha and Midnight Snooze collided on the first turn checking Aston Alpha.  Aston Alpha and Big Alfie collided approaching the second turn checking Aston Alpha.  Soda Fizz and Starlight Tyson collided on the second turn.  Whakahoro, Aston Sunset and Enchanting collided on the second turn checking Aston Sunset and Enchanting.  Midnight Snooze and Enchanting collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds.

Fabriola Zad and Kanji Height collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Bareki, Fantastic Raven and Earn The Answers collided approaching the first turn checking Fantastic Raven.  Fantastic Raven and Fabriola Zad collided in the back straight.  Weblec Scout crossed to the inside in the home straight checking Bareiki.

Galloping Speed was slow to begin.  Shanlyn Kim, Gintoki Bale and Rear View Mirror collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Shanlyn Kim checked off Gintoki Bale approaching the second turn.  Shanlyn Kim and Galloping Speed collided on the second turn.  Rear View Mirror checked off Galloping Speed approaching the fourth turn.  Aston Adonis and Demolition collided entering the home straight checking Aston Adonis.

A pre-race sample was taken from Denise's Vision.

Quincee Bale was slow to begin.  Little Tiger and Quebec Bale collided soon after the start.  Invictus Jaxson and Loxton Bale collided soon after the start.  Little Tiger and Nevaeh Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Quebec Bale and Invictus Jaxson collided on the first turn and again entering the back straight.

My Buddy Benny and Trendy Universe collided soon after the start.  Migration crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Fireweed, Code Blue Sue, My Buddy Benny and Trendy Universe, severely checking Liquid Crystal.  Trendy Universe and Migration collided on the first turn.  Fireweed, Code Blue Sue and Trendy Universe collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Migration and Rufus Scrimgeour collided on the home turn.  Flying Lantern visibly eased approaching the winning post.

Flying Lantern was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Representative, Mr P. Riley regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.   Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Flying Lantern was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Riley pleaded guilty to the charge, Flying Lantern was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rufus Scrimgeour was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Trainer, Ms. L. Cockerell, regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.   After hearing evidence from Ms. Cockerell, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.

Jet Legger crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Halberd Bale and Way To Important.  East Street and Yalena Bale collided soon after the start.  Harrell Bale and East Street collided on the first turn.  Yalena Bale, Halberd Bale and Way To Important collided on the first turn checking Halberd Bale, severely checking Way To Important which stumbled as a result.

Way To Important was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
