Steward's Report
Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings and observed social distance requirements that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.
A pre-race sample was taken from Gypsy Yankee.
Osprey Phantom was slow to begin. Do Good Davlin, Eat My Dust and Coterie collided soon after the start. Daph's Zac, Gypsy Yankee and Tan Star collided approaching the first turn. Tan Star, Do Good Davlin and Coterie collided entering the back straight. Tan Star checked off Do Good Davlin in the back straight. Tan Star, Coterie and Osprey Phantom collided on the third turn checking Tan Star and Coterie.
A post-race sample was taken from Americano Miss, the winner of the event.
Jen Jumbo Prawn – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Warrnambool on 11 November. Jen Jumbo Prawn was examined by the on-track veterinarian and was found to be free from injury. Jen Jumbo Prawn was cleared to race.
