A pre-race sample was taken from Dollhouse Agogo.
Reiko Bingle was slow to begin.
Dollhouse Agogo checked off King Chad soon after the start. Dollhouse Agogo, King Chad, Parasite and Coco To Burn collided soon after the start; checking Parasite and Dollhouse Agogo. Doll's Jakit, Vortex, Nyssa's Girl and King Chad collided approaching the first turn; checking Doll's Jakit and Vortex. Vortex checked off King Chad approaching the home turn. Vortex and Coco To Burn collided entering the home straight. Reiko Bingle, Dollhouse Agogo and Parasite raced wide in the home straight.
Doll's Jakit underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr Darren Petersen regarding the racing manners of Vortex entering the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr Petersen, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.
