A pre-race sample was taken from Riverdale Tuohy.
Barbados Dream was quick to begin. Remember Prince was slow to begin.
Riverdale Bear and Barbados Dream collided soon after the start, checking Riverdale Bear. Riverdale Tuohy lost ground approaching the first turn.
Riverdale Tuohy underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
