Steward's Report
Indy Lolly was quick to begin.
Ozark Bale and Cindy Fuso collided soon after the start. Ozark Bale, Cindy Fuso and Aston Colossus collided soon after the start checking Ozark Bale and Cindy Fuso. Zippy Yamaha and Aston Colossus collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Aston Colossus. Ozark Bale checked off Cindy Fuso on the first turn. Aston Colossus cramped in the home straight.
Aston Colossus underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left back muscle and had cramped. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Aston Colossus must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted. Trainer Mr. P. Abela indicated it was his intention to retire the greyhound.
