Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Pat May Joy.
Ronnie Armo was slow to begin.
Trojan Package checked off Very Jiggling on the first turn; checking Ronnie Armo and Rowchester Sugar. Tin Town checked off Rowchester Sugar on the home turn. Tin Town turned its head outwards and collided with Ronnie Armo entering the home straight; resulting in Ronnie Armo being forced wide.
Tin Town underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg torn nail injury; a five day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Shaun Baulch regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B(1), Tin Town was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Baulch pleaded guilty to the charge, Tin Town was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B(1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
