Marshall Giblet – Late scratching Sunday, 22 August 2021 at 5:03 pm when trainer, Mr Daniel Gibbons reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Oldina Patsy.
Crymelon Ivy, Frey Lee, Pat May Joy and Urana Blackie collided soon after the start; checking Frey Lee and Pat May Joy. Urana Blackie, Crymelon Ivy and Myola Pocket collided on the first turn; checking Crymelon Ivy; severely checking Myola Pocket. Oldina Patsy tired over the concluding stages.
Oldina Patsy underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have left foreleg laceration and right hindleg spike wound injuries. A seven day stand down period was imposed.
