Steward's Report
The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Harsh Jude with trainer, Mr Jason Formosa and noted his comments.
Lektra Nat, Scott Confusion, Harsh Jude and Megasonic collided soon after the start, checking Harsh Jude. Dodgy Digger, Lektra Nat and Scott Confusion collided approaching the first turn, checking Lektra Nat. Scott Confusion, Lektra Nat and Harsh Jude collided on the first turn; checking Harsh Jude and Black Strat. Scott Confusion galloped on the heels of Dodgy Digger approaching the home turn.
Harsh Jude underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Megasonic underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request due to an incident in the catching pen and was found to have an abrasion to the left foreleg. A three day stand down period was imposed.
Black Strat underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right foreleg monkey and right hindleg quadriceps muscle injuries. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Scott Confusion – Was ordered to wear an anti-aggression muzzle in all future events in accordance with GAR 71A.
