Kanga Lights and Infinite Will collided soon after the start. Jeziah Bale and Jax Star collided approaching the first turn. Feel The Thunder and Infinite Will collided approaching the first turn. Jeziah Bale, Jax Star and Almapa Sunshine collided on the first turn. Infinite Will and Jeziah Bale collided approaching the home turn. Jeziah Bale checked off Pai Gow Poker approaching the home turn; checking Jax Star and Almapa Sunshine, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.
Almapa Sunshine underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
