Bear's Dream underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a cervico-cranium injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Geoffrey Mitchell, the trainer of Bear's Dream regarding its performance on the home turn, and in the home straight. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Bear's Dream must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
