Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Sugar Shane.
Weblec Cruiser and Spring Candice were quick to begin. Sugar Shane and Joffa's Monaro were slow to begin.
Weblec Cruiser, Weblec Gem, Moriah Bale and Peponi Bale collided approaching the first turn; checking Weblec Gem, Flying Sonic and Moriah Bale. Flying Sonic checked off Moriah Bale on the first turn. Sugar Shane checked off Moriah Bale entering the home straight. Sugar Shane and Weblec Gem collided approaching the winning post.
Joffa's Monaro underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg spike wound injury. A three day stand down period was imposed.
