Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Crystal Edition.
Moon Sister was quick to begin. Uzima Bale was slow to begin.
Mikado Set and Moon Sister collided soon after the start. Moon Sister, Great Scout and Weeona Evie collied approaching the first turn. Mikado Set, Moon Sister, Great Scout and Big Bash Barty collided on the first turn checking Moon Sister and Big Bash Barty, severely checking Great Scout which lost ground as a result. Big Bash Barty contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Great Scout and Weeona Evie collided on the home turn.
Stewards delayed the all clear for this event after noting that the amber light on the starting boxes continued to flash once the green light had been activated. After reviewing the race replay, Stewards were satisfied that this had no effect on the start of the event and the all clear was given.
Big Bash Barty underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
