Steward's Report
A sample was unable to be obtained from On The Duck upon arrival on-course; a pre-race sample was subsequently taken.
Totally Balanced - Late scratching at 8.31pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to diarrhoea. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
How High Austin was slow to begin.
Miss Angel Di, On The Duck and Lady Loch collided soon after the start. Pat My Lass and Miss Angel Di collided on the first turn checking Miss Angel Di. On The Duck and Lady Loch collided on the first turn checking Lady Loch. On The Duck galloped on the heels of Miss Angel Di on the home turn checking Miss Angel Di.
Stewards delayed the all clear for this event after noting that the amber light on the starting boxes continued to flash once the green light had been activated. After reviewing the race replay, Stewards were satisfied that this had no effect on the start of the event and the all clear was given.
