Steward's Report
Lady Lagertha eased in the back straight and subsequently pulled up. Mr. Neo galloped on Blue Tiger on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Mr. Neo and Dream Wizard collided approaching the home turn. Ripplebrook Glen and Blue Tiger collided on the home turn. Ripplebrook Glen, Blue Tiger, Mr. Neo, Nitro Roxy and Portelli Punk collided entering the home straight
Lady Legertha underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right monkey muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. E. Lieshout regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Lady Lagertha was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Lieshout pleaded guilty to the charge, Lady Lagertha was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
