There was no head-on vision available for this race.
Lady Swiss - Late scratching at 9.20am with Stewards permission.
A pre-race sample was taken from Stalking Shadow.
Riverdale Bonnie and Darley Lass were slow to begin. Mt. View Burner was very slow to begin - 4L.
Riverdale Bonnie, Al's Big Sister and Little Herbie collided approaching the first turn. Little Herbie galloped on the heels of Al's Big Sister on the first turn checking Little Herbie severely checking Al's Big Sister. Little Herbie and Darley Lass collided approaching the home turn and again in the home straight.
Al's Big Sister underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle, the right monkey muscle and right hip. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
