Steward's Report

Storm To Burn – Late scratching on 7 February 2021 at 9:51 pm when trainer, Mr K Goodwin reported the greyhound to have a tail injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Trainer, Mr M Giddings was issued a warning after failing to produce the registration card for the greyhound For The Thrill (GAR 33). Mr Giddings presented a phone copy of the registration card.

A pre-race sample was taken from For The Thrill.

Ted Do was slow to begin.

Ted Do and Rower's Rule collided on the first turn. Saint Destructor and For The Thrill collided on the first turn.

For The Thrill underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
