Urana Vieri was quick to begin.
Frothy's Friday and Patricia Mary collided soon after the start. Tinker To Burn, Raw Attitude and Cawbourne Cheeky collided on the first turn; checking Tinker To Burn and Patricia Mary. Frothy's Friday and Urana Vieri collided on the home turn. Tinker To Burn cramped approaching the winning post.
Tinker To Burn underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Tinker To Burn must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
