Butterfish and Mt. View Emma collided soon after the start. Butterfish, Mt. View Emma and Solar Life collided on the first turn checking Butterfish and Mt. View Emma. Mr. Lonely checked off Solar Life approaching the home turn. Solar Life, Electric Nugget and Take A Daisy collided approaching the home turn checking Take A Daisy. Electric Nugget and Take A Daisy collided in the home straight. Kara The Escapee and Solar Life collided in the home straight. Solar Life eased approaching the winning post.

Solar Life underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Victor Millington regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Solar Life was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Millington pleaded guilty to the charge, Solar Life was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Take A Daisy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Ms Nicole Lund regarding the racing manners of Take A Daisy in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Ms Lund, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
