Steward's Report
A sample was taken from He Shall Enchant upon arrival at the course.
A pre-race sample was taken from Pine Gem.
Oscar The Scout was slow to begin.
He Shall Enchant checked off Pine Gem approaching the first turn. Pine Gem galloped on Airly Spence on the second turn checking Pine Gem. He Shall Enchant, Darnum Dozer and Oscar The Scout collided in the back straight. Oscar The Scout and Romeo lad collided on the home turn. Why Not Dot and He Shall Enchant collided several times approaching the winning post.
He Shall Enchant underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. David Crawford regarding the racing manners in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr. Crawford and viewing all the available race footage, Stewards took no further action.
