Jet Burner – Late scratching at 9:28 am, Stewards permission, no penalty.

Atlantic Lady was slow to begin.

Angelique Bay, Tinker Caylee and Millie's Wonder collided approaching the first turn; checking Tinker Caylee, Millie's Wonder and Atlantic Lady.  Tinker Caylee eased and turned its head inwards on the home turn. Tinker Caylee then crossed to the inside entering the home straight and collided with Extreme Care and Millie's Wonder.

Tinker Caylee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg monkey muscle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr R Fisher, the trainer of Tinker Caylee, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Tinker Caylee was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Fisher pleaded guilty to the charge, Tinker Caylee was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
