Steward's Report
Baggy's Gold was slow to begin.
Natsu Bale, Bricabrac and Baggy's Gold collided soon after the start. Hird From Bucks and Bricabrac collided on the first turn. Baggy's Gold, Rock Me Xanthe and Brave Traveller collided on the home turn causing Brave Traveller to cross out. Bricabrac, Rock Me Xanthe and Hird From Bucks raced wide in the home straight.
Rock Me Xanthe underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr. David Crawford regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Rock Me Xanthe was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Crawford pleaded guilty to the charge, Rock Me Xanthe was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1)(a) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
