Steward's Report
Nitro Yap was quick to begin. Winlock Newbolt and Hatters Lane were slow to begin.
Avalanche and Max Voltage collided several times soon after the start. Avalanche, Max Voltage and Winlock Newbolt collided on the first turn; severely checking Avalanche and Max Voltage. Kinloch Moss and Hatters Lane collided on the first turn. Avalanche and Max Voltage collided heavily on the first turn; Avalanche stumbled and nearly fell, losing considerable ground.
Avalanche underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left hindleg hock. No stand down period was imposed.
