A pre-race sample was taken from My Dad Baz.
The start of this race was delayed by approximately 1 minute to hold for Kellerberrin Harness.
Zipping Elsa was quick to begin. Montanaro and Zipping Cola were slow to begin.
My Dad Baz crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Happy Hannah. Montanaro and My Dad Baz collided on the first turn, severely checking My Dad Baz. My Dad Baz checked off Happy Hannah on the first turn.
My Dad Baz underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was revetted following race five and was found to have back soreness.. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Zipping Elsa - the winner of the event.
