Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID–19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4–wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks that in–turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race–day functions and operations.

Lilac Sky was quick to begin. Nine Wine Wine and Our Boy Benny collided soon after the start, checking Our Boy Benny. Orya Bale checked off Lilac Sky soon after the start and collided with Nine Wine Wine. Pronator, Lilac Sky, Lektra Logic, Nine Wine Wine and Orya Bale collided on the first turn, checking Pronator, Lilac Sky, Nine Wine Wine and severely checking Lektra Logic which faltered and pulled up. Our Boy Benny and Orya Bale collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Our Boy Benny and Orya Bale collided approaching the winning post. Lilac Sky, Nine Wine Wine and Pronator collided approaching the winning post. 

Lektra Logic underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right elbow injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Our Boy Benny underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind paw. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to handler Ms K. Smith regarding the greyhound's racing manner in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Ms Smith, viewing all available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manner in the home straight.

Callow Street was slow to begin. Chase Man and Jafar Bale collided collided soon after the start, checking Chase Man. Och Eye Mum and Jafar Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Och Eye Mum. Chase Man checked Jafar Bale on the first turn. Chase Man checked Callow Street on the home turn. 

Rockstar Jaimee - Late scratching at 2.47pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right fore toe injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Rockstar Duff and Butter Puddin' collided on the first turn. Emergency and Happy Hannah collided on the first turn. 

Rockstar Duff underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid injury and a sand toe on the right hind, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Due to a technical malfunction the first split for this event was hand timed. 

Tinker Bono stumbled and lost ground at box rise. Orange Justice was slow to begin. Agent Stella and Miss Tickle collided soon after the start, checking Miss Tickle. Rockstar Harley and Orange Justice collided soon after the start. Miss Tickle and Hey Vain Elaine collided soon after the start, checking Hey Vain Elaine. Crypto Geek and Rockstar Harley collided soon after the start, checking Crypto Greek. Rockstar Harley, Crypto Greek, Miss Tickle and Agent Stella collided approaching the first turn. Orange Justice and Agent Stella collided entering the home straight.

Shock Value was quick to begin. Winsome Willow was slow to begin. Thurles Princess and Run From Reality collided soon after the start, checking Thurles Princess. Aston Rose checked off Flying Zara approaching the first turn. Winsome Willow checked off Patchie Two Dots approaching the first turn. Patchie Two Dots checked off Shock Value on the first turn. Shock Value checked off Run From Reality on the home turn. 

Aston Select and Graphic Print collided approaching the first turn. Graphic Print, Chasing Beers and Slingshot Pete collided on the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Queue The Music and Aston Select collided on the first turn, checking Aston Select. Atomic Icon and Slingshot Pete collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds.

Burner Black underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined at 6:30pm, no apparent injury could be detected. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr L. Green regarding its performance in the event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Burner Black must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ieisha Bale, Limburg Special, Skating Queen and Quarantined were quick to begin. Belle Curve was slow to begin. Ieisha Bale and Limburg Special collided soon after the start. Limburg Special and Skating Queen collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Quarantined and Ieisha Bale collided on the first turn, checking Quarantined. Weeona Polly, Skating Queen and Fallen Petal collided on the first turn, checking Skating Queen, Fallen Petal and Belle Curve.

Helena Ravenclaw and My Victoria were quick to begin. Mr. Attitude, Consider It Done, Lightning Artist and Dybala collided approaching the first turn, checking Consider It Done, Lightning Artist and Dybala.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Helena Ravenclaw was displaced for the event.

Shivering Stone – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Geelong on 25 August, 2020. Shivering Stone was examined by the on-track veterinarian and found to be free from injury. Shivering Stone was cleared to race.
