Steward's Report
Amazing Roy and Zipping Cola were slow to begin.
Zipping Cola and American Spy collided soon after the start. Big Prediction and Chips An' Cheese collided on the first turn. Zipping Cola galloped on Chips An' Cheese approaching the home turn; severely checking both greyhounds.
Zipping Cola underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right hindleg thigh and triangle injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Ricky Coleman, the representative of Zipping Cola regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Taking into consideration the interference and injury sustained, Stewards issued Zipping Cola with a warning on this occasion.
Big Prediction – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.
