Boes Bandit and Rizzo collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Tysons Town and Belt Up Dusty collided on the first turn, checking Parumba Barty. Boes Bandit and Parumba Barty collided on the first turn, checking Parumba Barty. Rumour File and Prize Diamond collided on the home turn.
Parumba Barty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left foreleg wrist and left hindleg calf muscles injuries. A five day stand down period was imposed.
