Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Parumba Barty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left foreleg wrist and left hindleg calf muscles injuries.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Super Shenron, Hurricane Miss, Proven Blazer, Inter Vince and Double Eclipse collided soon after the start.  Double Eclipse and Super Shenron collided on the first turn.  Proven Blazer checked off Hurricane Miss on the first turn.  Inter Vince and Bindi Girl collided on the home turn; checking Bindi Girl and Hurricane Miss.  Hurricane Miss raced wide in the home straight.

Facing The Music underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg toe injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Threadin' Mikado, Don's Scolari and Pennine Way collided soon after the start.  Threadin' Mikado and Don's Scolari collided on the first turn, checking Don's Scolari.  Bricabrac crossed to the rail on the first turn; checking Samp De Keats and Thunderbolt Jack, causing Threadin' Mikado to gallop on Thunderbolt Jack; checking Pennine Way and severely checking Threadin' Mikado and Thunderbolt Jack; Threadin' Mikado lost considerable ground and Thunderbolt Jack pulled up as a result.  Bricabrac checked off Miss Never Mind in the home straight and crossed out.

Stewards spoke to Mr Ricky Coleman, the representative of Zipping Cola regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  Taking into consideration the interference and injury sustained, Stewards issued Zipping Cola with a warning on this occasion.
