Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Sweet Chanelle and Hurricane Gypsy were quick to begin. Mt. View Jester was slow to begin.  Don't Get Lippy was checked off Hurricane Gypsy on the first turn.  Hurricane Miami and Mt. View Jester collided on the first turn.

Sweet Chanelle underwent a post race veterinary examination after falling in the catching pen, no apparent injury was reported.

Bellbird - New declared weight of 24.6 kg, last raced at 23.2 kg.

Will's Bella was quick to begin.  Light On Tackle and Hurricane Keely collided soon after the start checking Light On Tackle.  Big Prediction and Bellbird collided on the first turn checking Bellbird.  Big Prediction and Big Tango collided approaching the home turn.  Bellbird and Hurricane Star collided on the home turn.

In accordance with LR 22 Mr. L. Rowe was reminded of his responsibilities regarding his non-compliance with the GRV dress code.

Coco Chum, Boolavogue and Sky Show collided approaching the first turn checking Boolavogue and Sky Show.  Lovin' The Sun and Hurricane Pete collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Girvasi, the trainer of Coco Chum and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding complying with the starters instructions pursuant to GAR 86(o).

Bella Bonnie was quick to begin.  Prince Archer and Fallen Petal were slow to begin.  Bella Bonnie, Lenny's Jagger, Mt. View Emma and Aston Hackett collided soon after the start.  Bella Bonnie and Bomber's Cruiser collided approaching the home turn checking Bella Bonnie.

Captain Cruiser and Morbius were quick to begin.  Morbius faltered on the first turn and lost considerable ground.  Just The Marjen and Ripplebrook Glen collided several times from approaching the home turn to the home turn.

Morbius underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right triangle muscle and right abdominal muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Boes Rose and Weeona Pete were quick to begin.  Zipping Annabel was slow to begin.  Boes Rose and Aston Genesis collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Zipping Annabel and Jebrynah Octave collided on the first turn.

Mister Wingard, Speed Demon and Jayla Strike were quick to begin.  Bomber's Queen and Jayla Strike collided approaching the first turn checking Bomber's Queen and severely checking Digitorum. Bomber's Queen, Gunmandu and Digitorum collided on the first turn.  Mister Wingard and Aston Rosa collided entering the home straight.

Gone Early - late scratching at 2.39pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to dehydration.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Baby Pechey and Bomber's Wonder were quick to begin.  Aquileia was slow to begin.  Feel The Thunder and Bomber's Wonder collided approaching the first turn checking Feel The Thunder.  Baby Pechey, Bomber's Wonder and Busy Bella collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Aquileia and Busy Bella collided approaching the home turn and again in the home straight.

My Boy Will and Victa Libby were slow to begin.  Rose Mikado and Aston Midori collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Write About Her - field of 4, distance 400 metres, weight 31.7kg, box 7, placed third, time run 23.13 secs. Cleared all tracks except Murray Bridge and Cranbourne.
