Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Stewards were informed by Track Curator - Mr T Dempsey that both inside and outside tracks were lightly harrowed on Sunday the 13th of September.

Georgio Bale - Late scratching at 2:14 due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mrs S Grenfell was fined $100.

Oliver Bale and Dutch Ambition collided soon after the start. Dutch Ambition checked off Jafar Bale approaching the first turn checking Queen Lisa. Dutch Ambition and Lilac Sky collided approaching the home turn. Dutch Ambition checked off Lilac Sky on the home turn.

Irving went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Curious Yaala crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Rockstar Harley. Rockstar Harley checked off Parlo Bale approaching the first turn. Harley Bale and Curious Yaala collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Rockstar Harley raced wide in the home straight.

Irving underwent a post-race veterinary examination at Trainer's request and was found to have a spike wound to the right hindleg toe. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Vanilla Sky - Late scratching at 2:13 on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to dehydration. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Dinner Roll and Big Buck were quick to begin. Tinker Cindy was slow to begin.

Pandora's Blue was slow to begin. Prince Archer went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Diesel Dust checked off Ton Eighty on the first turn checking Pandora's Blue and Galilahi. Yeran and Galilahi collided approaching the home turn. Diesel Dust and Pandora's Blue collided entering the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Architecture, Primo Beso and Sisco Bella collided soon after the start. Architecture checked off Primo Beso approaching the first turn checking Monkey Mite and Black Tess. Black Tess crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Monkey Mite and Limburg Patrick.  Primo Beso checked off Limburg Patrick on the first turn severely checking Primo Beso, Black Tess and Architecture causing Primo Beso to lose ground. Limburg Patrick and Yaala Eclipse collided on the first turn. 

A post-race sample was taken from Sisco Bella - the winner of the event.

Primo Beso underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg shoulder joint injury and a right foreleg torn nail and a left foreleg flexor tendon injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed

Wild Slammer - Late scratching at 2:28 on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right forte spike wound. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Limburg Special went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Destruct was slow to begin and trailed the field thoughout the running of the event.

Pandora's Hope checked off Draconic Lad on the first turn. Agent Stella and Draconic Lad collided approaching the home turn. Pandora's Hope and Scott Confusion collided approaching the winning post.

Destruct underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg biceps brachil injury and a left foreleg chest muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed

Explosive Avatar and Victory Chico collided soon after the start. Groundbreaking and Kiss Mwah collided approaching the first turn. Groundbreaking checked off Explosive Avatar on the first turn checking Blue Magic Opal. Blue Magic Opal and Victory Chico collided on the first turn. Victory Chico checked off Blue Magic Opal approaching the home turn. Explosive Avatar and Skating Queen collided on the home turn. Our Ryker and Explosive Avatar collided several times approaching the winning post. 

Explosive Avatar underwent a post-race veterinary examination at trainer's request and was found to have a left hindleg hock injury and a right hindleg split webbing and a spike wound to right stopper. A 10 day stand down period was imposed

Petey Baqui and Piccolo Fratello collided soon after the start. Piccolo Fratello and Maximum Jan collided approaching the first turn severely checking Maximum Jan which was tailed off. Kelli Pochette checked off Piccolo Fratello on the first turn. Piccolo Fratello checked off Aston Milla in the home straight.
