La La Nebraska and Colourful Past collided on the first turn. Diesel Herrera and Another Episode collided entering the home straight. La La Nebraska and Colourful Past collided several times approaching the winning post.
Colourful Past underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left shoulder, left metatarsal and a spike wound over the right calf. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Michael Meyer and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.
