Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

The kennels closed later than scheduled at 8.30am due to operational issues in the kenneling process.

Don't Get Lippy - Late scratching at 8.29am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right hind papilloma. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Big Leigh and She's Invincible collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Buzz Out and Waikerie Bandit collided soon after the start checking Waikerie Bandit. Wacky Wednesday and Buzz Out collided on the first turn checking Buzz Out. Big Leigh and She's Invincible collided on the first turn checking Big Leigh. Wacky Wednesday clipped the heels of Percy's Dream approaching the home turn. She's Invincible and Waikerie Bandit collided approaching the home turn checking She's Invincible.

Lumen Large, Lainey Zapper and Dance Diva Dance were quick to begin. Fairytale Poppy was slow to begin. We Will Prevail faltered approaching the first turn and subsequently tailed off. Fairytale Swank, Doughnut and Lainey Zapper collided on the first turn checking Doughnut and severely checking Fairytale Swank and Lainey Zapper. Lumen Large and Dance Diva Dance collided on the first turn. Lainey Zapper raced wide approaching the home turn. Rough Ride and Dance Diva Dance raced from the home turn to the winning post. Fairytale Swank and Lainey Zapper collided approaching the winning post. 

We Will Prevail underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Why Not Ben was slow to begin. Run Johnny Run went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (5 lengths). Crackerjack Pack checked off Lean In on the first turn checking Sassy Baby and severely checking Merriview Jolt.

Amelie Otis and Gamma Bale were quick to begin. Exclusively Mine and Slingshot Yang collided approaching the first turn. Tommy Cawbourne and Nanna Rose collided on the first turn checking Tommy Cawbourne. Amelie Otis and Nanna Rose collided on the first turn. Exclusively Mine and Gamma Bale collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight checking Gamma Bale. Prime Time marred Slingshot Yang entering the home straight and in the home straight checking Slingshot Yang and severely checking Amelie Otis which stumbled as a result. Nana Rose raced wide in the home straight. 

Amelie Otis underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds on the left and right forelegs. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Prime Time underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Jihad Talgi, the trainer of Prime Time regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Prime Time was charged with marring. Mr Talgi pleaded guilty to the charge, Prime Time is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

La La Nebraska shifted in soon after the start checking Another Episode. Diesel Herrera and La La Nebraska collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Diesel Herrera. La La Nebraska and Colourful Past collided on the first turn. Diesel Herrera and Another Episode collided entering the home straight. La La Nebraska and Colourful Past collided several times approaching the winning post. 

Colourful Past underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left shoulder, left metatarsal and a spike wound over the right calf. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Michael Meyer and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. 

Queue The Music - Late scratching at 7.59am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Lewis Green was fined $100.

Cornhill Tiger, Cornhill Rebel and Just A Giggle were quick to begin. Just A Giggle shifted in soon after the start checking Lightning Ben and Layback Cruiser. Lektra Rainbow and Una Star collided approaching the first turn. Cornhill Rebel checked off Cornhill Tiger approaching the first turn. Lightning Ben and Layback Cruiser collided on the first turn checking Lightning Ben. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Marcus Rose.

Apache Chaz and Curiouser collided soon after the start. Nothing Lasts and Midnight Hussler collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Midnight Hussler which stumbled as a result. Nothing Lasts, Curiouser and Titanium Lad collided approaching the first turn checking Curiouser and Titanium Lad. Marcus Rose and Kamari collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Marcus Rose and Titanium Lad collided on the home turn. 

Titanium Lad underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was found to have a left hind split webbing. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Pirate Patch was quick to begin. Dirty Max and Mississippi Mud collided soon after the start checking Dirty Max. Crackerjack Suni and Dirty Max collided on the first turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Foxami Raptor. 

Treasure's Lad and Fried White Bait were slow to begin. Golden Charm went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (6 lengths). Nella Ruslie checked off Me Silly approaching the first turn. Foxami Raptor and Rimrock Sally collided on the first turn severely checking Rimrock Sally. Fried White Bait and Nella Ruslie collided on the home turn. Rimrock Sally checked off Nella Ruslie entering the home straight. Treasure's Lad raced wide on the home turn. Treasure's Lad lost ground in the home straight. 

Treasure's Lad underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds on the both hind toes. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Thomas Boehmke regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Treasure's Lad must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Winsome Willow. 

Roger Rocks and Especial Envy collided soon after the start. Winsome Willow and Catch Kate collided approaching the first turn checking Catch Kate and severely checking Winsome Willow. Winsome Willow contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Especial Envy, Crown Ella and White Cynder collided on the first turn. Crown Ella and White Cynder collided on the home turn. Catch Kate checked off Especial Envy entering the home straight. 

Winsome Willow underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising on the left thigh. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Maximum Milky – New declared weight of 27.8kgs, last raced at 26.5kgs.

Silver Destroyer crossed to the rails approaching the first turn checking Gamboa, Maximum Milky, Bingo Boom, Line Trike and Una's Boy. Merriview Mach and Silver Destroyer collided on the first turn checking Merriview Mach which contacted the rail as a result. Maximum Milky, Una's Boy and Bad Bailey collided approaching the home turn checking Una's Boy and Bad Bailey. Silver Destroyer faltered on the home turn and subsequently tailed off. Bingo Boom and Una's Boy collided on the home turn. 

Silver Destroyer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

The Stewards inspected the racing surface post-race in the area of the home turn and found it suitable for racing.

Aston Midori was slow to begin. Why Not Kaleb and Mr. Attitude collided soon after the start. Mr. Attitude, Why Not Kaleb and Aston Midori collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Mr. Attitude and Why Not Kaleb. Tex Burger checked off Aston Milla on the home turn and raced wide.
