Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Winsome Willow.
Roger Rocks and Especial Envy collided soon after the start. Winsome Willow and Catch Kate collided approaching the first turn checking Catch Kate and severely checking Winsome Willow. Winsome Willow contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Especial Envy, Crown Ella and White Cynder collided on the first turn. Crown Ella and White Cynder collided on the home turn. Catch Kate checked off Especial Envy entering the home straight.
Winsome Willow underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising on the left thigh. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
