Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Foxami Raptor.
Treasure's Lad and Fried White Bait were slow to begin. Golden Charm went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (6 lengths). Nella Ruslie checked off Me Silly approaching the first turn. Foxami Raptor and Rimrock Sally collided on the first turn severely checking Rimrock Sally. Fried White Bait and Nella Ruslie collided on the home turn. Rimrock Sally checked off Nella Ruslie entering the home straight. Treasure's Lad raced wide on the home turn. Treasure's Lad lost ground in the home straight.
Treasure's Lad underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds on the both hind toes. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Thomas Boehmke regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Treasure's Lad must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
